DARCARS Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram

Buch worked on the construction of the DARCARS Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram’s sales and service facility in Silver Spring, MD. The first part of the project included demolition of the existing dealership, which required the installation of a needle beam scaffold to maintain the structural integrity of the building during demolition. The next part of the project included two existing service departments, which received major upgrades. The car lifts were relocated to suit the new layout needs, new heavy duty truck lifts, alignment rack and pit were installed, and the floors were resurfaced with new high traffic epoxy coating. Additionally, all new MEP systems were installed with new DOAS units, leading to better air quality and energy savings.
The interior scope also included the renovation of the new car showroom, service department, workshops, and retail department and sales offices. The exterior scope included various structural updates to the building envelope, branded ACM paneling with LED accent lighting, and the addition of new canopies and roll up doors to provide efficiencies for daily operations.
