ACME
Jersey City, NJ
Buch partnered with Albertson’s to renovate the existing Acme store in Jersey City, NJ. The store was kept open and operational throughout the duration of the project. Demolition was necessary to remove outdated structures and prepare the space for the new construction. Work included extensive excavation, new refrigeration lines with all new cases and islands. Additionally, new flooring, finishes, and signage were installed throughout the space. A new FFC department was built along with new a new cash office and customer service area.
The grocery store now boasts a fresh, contemporary look that aligns with the brand’s image and enhances the overall customer experience. The project team successfully managed the occupied, phased construction process, completing the project on time and within budget.
