Macy’s Raritan Distribution Center
Edison, NJ
Buch built a brand new 356,000 SF warehouse addition as well as a brand new 65,000 SF delivery terminal for the Macy’s Distribution Center, which significantly increased their ability to manage and ship merchandise up and down the East Coast. The Warehouse addition was built on 15 acres of hilly wooded terrain that first needed to be cleared and leveled, which resulted in 12,500 truck loads of dirt being hauled off the site. The project was delivered on time and under budget, all while keeping the existing center fully operational and Macy’s was extremely happy with the final product.
