Market By Macy’s

Snellville, GA

The Market by Macy’s in Atlanta, GA involved the conversion of an existing 32,000 SF store into the newest small concept store format for Macy’s. Buch delivered a whitebox space, ready for merchandise in approximately 3 months from demolition to turn-over. Unique aspects of the construction included a BusStrut lighting system hanging from an open-structure ceiling, as well as a polished concrete finish floor. All floor power had to be trenched into the existing slab, after which a 5-step polishing process was applied. Since this is a new concept, highly curated store by Macy’s, our extensive experience with logistics of building a Macy’s store offered additional value to the owner.

“The most important thing when collaborating with our partners is the approach and the quality of the work: It’s about making the process smooth with an attention to detail. That’s the Buch Way.”

Brian Dribben, Senior Project Manager, Buch
