Milestone Building 5
Germantown, MD
Milestone Building 5 was the latest addition to the Milestone Business Park located in Germantown, MD. Buch completed this 166,055 SF core and shell building for Trammell Crow, which consisted of 5 stories of office space along with a parking garage. The project consisted of a steel framed structure with metal pan decking/concrete floor slabs, masonry skin, aluminum windows, and a TPO membrane roof. The main lobby consisted of stone floors, millwork wall panels, and architectural ceilings. The 2nd floor lobby was constructed with similar finishes and provided access to the bridge of the 4-level precast parking garage that was constructed in conjunction with the building.
The project was originally targeting a LEED Silver certification, but during construction attained sufficient points needed to deliver a LEED Gold project.
