Target

DC, FL, MD, NJ, NY, VA

Buch partnered with Target, one of the nation’s largest retailers, on their store renovation roll-out program starting in 2018. To date, the Buch team has renovated numerous high-profile stores in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. The projects were all completed in phases, while keeping the existing store open for business each day.

Typical projects included upgrades to the company’s newest branding standards and featured exterior upgrades, sales floor renovations, and back of house renovations. The exterior scope featured new signage, entrances, decorative wood paneling, EIFS, and painting. Inside, all flooring was replaced, new ceilings and lighting were upgraded, and new high-end fitting rooms were all designed to enhance the customer experience. The customer service area was renovated to include a fulfillment center for curbside pickup and the Starbucks and Café were also renovated to align with the new branding efforts.

In addition, several stores added and/or upgraded the grocery department which included new refrigeration and all associated utilities. The back-of-house was reconfigured to provide new restrooms, offices, training rooms, and employee areas.

“I have spent years working on projects and traveling all over parts of this region and along those projects I have had the opportunity to meet and work alongside project managers, general contractors, and site superintendents. Overall, without a doubt, the Buch team, top to bottom was the most enjoyable to work with.”
