Buch collaborated with The Escape Game on several unique projects, transforming ordinary spaces into fully immersive entertainment venues. Each project required comprehensive renovations, detailed coordination, and customized solutions to meet the demands of themed escape rooms.
Key Highlights by Location:
- Georgetown, DC & Penn Quarter, DC:
To prepare the urban spaces for The Escape Game, the team meticulously adapted the environments to their exact specifications. This involved ensuring precise wall dimensions, electrical layouts, and telecommunications/data infrastructure to enable seamless gameplay. Plywood blocking was installed on the walls to support a variety of custom finishes. Additionally, the team closely collaborated with The Escape Game team to navigate the final inspection process and meet all necessary safety requirements.
- New York, NY & Brooklyn, NY:
For two New York locations, including City Point in Brooklyn, Buch completed white box and interior renovations. The project involved constructing multiple escape rooms, each with distinctive storylines, puzzles, and designs. To ensure the equipment fit properly, the team leveled uneven floors in the “Playground” room. Drawing on their prior experience completing the Midtown location, Buch was able to deliver both projects on time while addressing any unforeseen challenges that arose.
- Tampa, FL:
The Tampa location involved a full build-out, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire alarms, sprinklers, framing, drywall, and painting. This fully prepared the space for The Escape Game’s installation team to add the final game room touches.
