The Highline Apartments
Hyattsville, MD
Buch teamed up with The Bernstein Companies on the repositioning of their historic office building in Hyattsville, MD. The project consisted of 365,000 SF of GSA office space on nearly 3 acres that was converted to a brand-new modern 338-unit apartment community. The building is in an active neighborhood with retail, other residential buildings, and a Metro station, all near The University of Maryland, College Park. Buch was an active partner from the start during the preconstruction stage, working with the project team to navigate challenges while maintaining the building’s historic designation, and establishing preliminary budgets and schedules. The project was turned over on time in multiple phases for peak leasing season.
